The Recreational Soccer program sponsored by MUSA is a great format to get introduced to soccer or to continue in soccer without the rigors and competition of Travel Soccer. The games are currently scheduled to be on Saturday mornings at All Wars Memorial Park in Linwood.   The game schedule changes season to season depending upon how many players in each age group sign up.

Registration for the Fall 2010 Season is now open. Games are played on Saturdays throughout the fall. There will be group practices with SJ Pro Soccer beginning the week after the first game.  They will be held at All Wars Memorial Park. Times and Dates to be determined.

Our philosophy for Recreational Soccer is for the children to have fun and learn about soccer fundamentals in a non-threatening environment. Score is not kept.

The cost for Recreational soccer is $60 each for the first two children, $40 for a third and $20 for four or more children. Local Travel is $75 each for the first two children, $55 for a third and $35 for four or more children.  This discount does not apply to our travel program (separate from local travel).   Rec teams are formed up to U8 (Second Grade) and then sixth to eight grade.  Third, fourth and fifth graders (under 9, under 10 and under 11) can play Local Travel only, there is no Rec program for these grades.

All games are weather permitting, makeup games are generally not able to be scheduled.

Note: U12 to U14 (Sixth, Seventh and Eight Graders – under 12, under 13 and under 14) These players will play on Saturday morning at Memorial Park. This is still a Rec only program.

To our Pre-K parents:  your child must be born before 4/17/06 to play Pre-K soccer for the Spring 2010 Season (must be 4 by season start for insurance)

We do consider scholarship opportunities, you may apply during registration or contact a board member.  We are happy to accept volunteer work in trade if possible!  However, scholarships are considered under all circumstances.
